I thought oranges, being sweet, would be considered a carb, so why are they combined here with a protein?

I'm confused about this recipe because the fat and dairy content from the heavy cream should not be combined with the meat nor should the apples that are mixed into the cabbage nor should the oil that is used to sear the meat.
What's going on with this recipe?

Sweet apples belong to the carbohydrate food group and tart apples to the protein food group. That is why we suggest to use a sweet apple.

No, because mozzarella is in the group of white cheese (also for example cottage cheese and goat cheese), which are meant neutral. You can combine them with anything.

I am confused that these recipes include both protein and carbs. I thought that this was not possible with food combining. I will be pleased if I can in fact combine these ingredients for a recipe. Can you please explain the principle.

I have a question. I have a friend who told me about the combination diet and lost 20 lbs! I am 120lbs (female, 31 years old) and I am 5"2. I usually weigh arround 105 and I am really looking forward to a healthy diet plan to loose and mantain my weight at 105lbs.
She mentioned that she would eat only fruits for b-fast and as a snack 2 hrs before lunch. then she would have only protein for lunch and leave the carbs for dinner.

is that also a way to do this diet or is it completely wrong??
