What to Eat When

For breakfast: choose between carbohydrate foods and protein foods or have neutral foods.

For lunch: choose a meal either from the carbohydrate food group or from the protein food group.

For dinner: choose a light meal from the carbohydrate food group. Preferably do not eat protein as they are not easy to digest.

Remember, you can combine ‘neutral’ foods with choices from the protein or from the carbohydrate food group.
