1 lb green asparagus, trimmed
3 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tbsp Parmesan cheese or other neutral cheese, freshly grated
2 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp sweet paprika
½ tsp salt
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add paprika and garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes.
- Add asparagus and salt and cook for about 10 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.
- Place asparagus on a service platter and sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese.
Variation: Sprinkle asparagus with crumbled feta cheese.
