Use on green or mixed salads. Provides a great appetizer if you add the dressing to hot cooked broccoli, cauliflower or carrots.
Time: about 15 minutes
3 tbsp heavy cream
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp freshly grated pepper
herbs of your choice (chives, parsley, or cilantro, etc.)
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1. Mix all ingredients, except for the olive oil, and stir well.
2. Beat in the olive oil.
A. Replace heavy cream by plain strained Greek yoghurt (e.g., FAGE brand).
B. Replace heavy cream by sour cream.
C. Add one minced garlic clove.
D. Add 1 tsp Dijon mustard.
